Sixth World Forum on Local Economic Development
Submission of applications until 8 June 2022

 

Dear members,

The World Forum of Local Economic Development -WFLED- aims to promote dialogue and exchange on equitable and sustainable economic development among a wide range of stakeholders.
 
After five successful editions since the process started in 2011, the call for hosting the 6th edition of the international event is now open.
 
With the WFLED consolidated as a means of support for the socio-economic recovery of the territories, the sixth edition will be held in the second half of 2023. Among the goals of the forum are the promotion of a space for reflection and meeting between territories linked to the theme of local economic development, the promotion of a framework that facilitates the exchange of innovative policies and experiences, the relationship of public and private entities with the World Forum process and the strengthening of LED in the design of policies at local and global level.
 
The deadline for the submission of applications as host territory for this 6th edition is open until 8 June 2022. Proposals can be submitted in English, Spanish and French. Please find in this link all the related information and the online form to submit your proposal.
