Join the UCLG Communities of Practice
Dear members,
The World Council in Hangzhou ratified the new consultation mechanisms of UCLG.
Six
Communities of Practice were set up, where we hope members can actively participate.
A Community of Practice is a group of UCLG local government members represented by technical staff and practitioners, convened at the initiative of a UCLG member around a specific topic.
Communities of Practice call learning meetings, suggest studies or programmes and contribute to the different parts of the UCLG network, informing on specific topics. They can develop ground work for Committees of Policy Councils, in close collaboration with the World Secretariat. They report annually to the Policy Councils.
You can join the following Communities:
- Urban Innovation, led by the city of Guangzhou
- Mobility, co-led by the cities of Strasbourg and Jakarta
- Social Economy, led by the city of Seoul
- Food Security, led by the French Association of Regions
- Transparency and Open Government, led by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces
- Digital Cities, led by the city of Bilbao
Should you be interested in one or several of the topics listed above, we warmly invite you to fill in the
registration form and contribute to the work of our Communities of Practice.
