REMINDER: Survey on SDG Localization. LRG Report to the HLPF 2021

Dear members,

This is a reminder of our previous circular asking you to answer the Survey on the localization of the SDGs.

As in previous years, our next report to the High-Level Political Forum of the United Nations on the role of local and regional governments in the localization of the SDGs will be presented in July 2021.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

This year, the HLPF will address the “Sustainable and resilient recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic” and our report will particularly focus on highlighting local and regional governments’ contribution to SDG 3 (health) and its interaction with the other reported SDGs (1, 2, 8, 10, 12, 13, 16 and 17).

We would like to know about the experiences on localizing the SDGs of as many local governments and associations as possible through our new survey.

We need the support of all local and regional governments and their national associations, from all the countries and particularly from the 44 countries that have committed to submit a Voluntary National Review to the 2021 HLPF. The complete list of countries by region is available below.

You can access this link to complete the survey online before April 30th. In case of technical issues, get in touch with us and we will provide an off-line version of the survey. We remain at your disposal for any questions you might have. Do not hesitate to write to us at gold@uclg.org.

If you did not receive it, you can also access it through the following link. Please make sure you only answer the survey once.
