Dear members of the World Council,
We are pleased to share with you up-dates on the Second World Forum of Intermediary Cities, “Life Systems for a Resilient Future”, which will take place on 5-8 October in Kütahya, Turkey.
As you may already be aware, all of the sessions taking place during the Forum on 5 and 6 October will be held online, whereas the meetings on 8 October will be helf in a hybrid format. You are still on time to register and you can find all the links to participate here.
As you can see, the World Forum is building on the synergy developed within the context of the G20, which is now an official partner of this UCLG Forum.

DRAFT DECLARATION
The Forum will provide the framework to continue developing knowledge, exchanges and policy recommendations on the role of intermediary cities as catalysts of a different model of development, one that places care for the people and the planet at the center.
The above is summarized in the Kütahya Declaration, a document resulting from the consultation processes of the Forum, including the consultation sessions held last May, and enriched with the feedback received during the preparation of the Forum.
