In light of the growing role of local governments in disaster mitigation and strategic planning, The United Cities and Local Governments of Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) in collaboration with Kuala Lumpur Regional Training Center (KLRTC) is organising a webinar entitled “Getting into Action: Disasters Prevention for Cities Resilience” on 14 June 2022.
The 90-minute webinar is intended to identify pathways that will enable local governments to understand the global context of disaster risk reduction; identify challenges and opportunities in making cities resilient; and understand the best practices by cities in overcoming potential disasters.
