Dear UCLG ASPAC Members,
As part of UCLG ASPAC advocacy for local governments, UCLG ASPAC serves as the focal point of the Asia-Pacific Local Government Coordinating Body (APLG), the regional coordination mechanism of local governments in the region. Given this, UCLG ASPAC is facilitating the participation of the Local Authorities Major Group at the 10th Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) organised by UNESCAP from 27 to 30 March 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.
In line with this, we have prepared the attached draft Joint Statement of Local Governments for the 10th APFSD. We would like to request your feedback on the draft statement by using the attached form and sending it to us with a copy to Ms. Liz Villegas at liz.villegas@uclg-aspac.org on or before 22 March 2023.
