Invitation of UCLG ASPAC Webshare Series:
"Empowering Women in the COVID-19 Era"
The United Cities and Local Governments of Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC) in collaboration with Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government extend an invitation for you to join our Web-Share Series on COVID-19, exploring how local governments and their stakeholders in Asia - Pacific region are responding to COVID-19.
The theme of this webshare is “Empowering Women in the COVID-19 Era”. The Webshare session will focus on empowering women and lesson learnt from Chinese and Indonesian Cities experiences during COVID-19 pandemic. This Webshare aims to strengthen local government cooperation between UCLG ASPAC member and It is also to share the experience on COVID-19’s responses, challenges and strategies for build back better, faster, and stronger. This webshare will be followed by the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between UCLG ASPAC and Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government. This session will be joined by:

· A representative of Hangzhou City on combating the COVID-19 pandemic by using the big data technology - China (tbc)
