We are delighted to announce the International Mayors Forum 2024, set to take place from the 2nd to the 4th of July in Jakarta, Indonesia. This forum is organised by the United Nations Office for Sustainable Development (UNOSD) under the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) of the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs, in collaboration with UCLG ASPAC and hosted by the Special Region of Jakarta.
The Forum will gather mayors and representatives from local governments, national governments, local government associations, academia, and other pertinent stakeholders to discuss practical strategies for localising the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the six remaining years leading up to 2030.
The Forum will explore six key transitions: food systems, energy access, digital connectivity, education, jobs and social protection, and climate action. We will share further details about the programme, registration formalities, and up-dates shortly.
